UTICA, N.Y. – Mohawk Valley Health System will resume the annual $100,000 Miracle Drawing this year, after canceling in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The drawing raises $430,000 each year to help the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital at MVHS provide necessary care for kids, including services for women and children with little or no insurance, support programs and training initiatives for staff and funds for specialized care for the Level II Special Care Nursery, located at the St. Luke’s Campus.
There are 4,300 tickets on sale for $100 each. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, live on NEWSChannel 2 at 6 p.m. The winner will get $100,000 in cash.
Tickets can be purchased at various locations around the area, including: AmeriCU Credit Union locations, Chanatry’s Hometown Market, Countryside Stove & Chimney, GPO Federal Credit Union locations, Jay-K Independent Lumber Corp., Remington Federal Credit Union and Special Metals Federal Credit Union.
Tickets are not available online due to state regulations.
