YORKVILLE, N.Y. (UPDATED) -- Representatives with the Department of Transportation say Route 5A on Oriskany Boulevard Westbound is closed at Champlin Avenue in Yorkville due to a large water main break. A large hole has formed as a result.
It happened before 3:30 a.m. Monday.
NEWSChannel 2 camera crews saw DOT workers shutting off water in the immediate area. They could not confirm when the break will be restored, but one westbound lane is expected to remain blocked overnight.
