Trenton home destroyed by fire

The fire broke out around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday along Glass Factory Road.

TRENTON, N.Y. -- A family of three lost their Trenton home to fire Wednesday night.

The fire broke out around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday along Glass Factory Road.

Firefighters from five departments were called in to battle the fire which helped bring it under control pretty quickly.

No one was hurt but fire officials say the home is a total loss.

Crews arrived to flames coming out of one end of the structure.

The family of three is now being assisted by the Red Cross.

No word yet on a cause.

Holland Patent was assisted by the Barneveld, Stittville, Floyd and Deerfield volunteer fire departments.
