UPDATE- Utica Police have made an arrest in a shooting that happened on Mohawk Street near Rutger Street.
Police charged Kham Khiamdavanh age 42, of Utica with Assault 1st and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Mohawk and Rutger streets around 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
They found a male had been shot. Police say he needed emergency surgery. They say the man is now stable.
Police say during their investigation, they learned there was a road rage incident minutes before the shooting.
They tell us there could be more charges for Khiamdavanh.

UTICA, N.Y. – A man was shot on Mohawk Street in Utica Friday, after two others were injured in drive-by shootings overnight.
Police were called to the scene on Mohawk near Rutger Street around 4:45 p.m.
The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for surgery. Utica Police at last check the victim was in serious condition.
Authorities are searching for a newer-model black Audi with tinted windows and custom rims in connection with the incident.
No suspect is in custody at this time.
