There are 12 counties still under a state of emergency, including Herkimer and Oneida counties, after floods ravaged the region Thursday night.
State and local crews are working to assess the damage of multiple road and waterways throughout the area.
Many roads across both counties are still impassable due to damage or flooding.
Oneida County
NY 922E is closed in both directions from Rt 69 to Rt 49, Oriskany, Oneida County due to flooding, high water, and debris from the Mohawk River.
NY 922A is closed in both directions from Rt 69 to River Rd, Whitesboro, Oneida County due to flooding, high water, and debris from the Mohawk River.
NY 291 is closed in both directions from Rt 69 to Rt 49, Whitestown, Oneida County due to flooding, high water, and debris from the Mohawk River.
N.Genesee St. is closed in both directions between Rt 5S to Auert Ave, Utica, Oneida County due to flooding, high water, and debris from the Mohawk River and the Reall Creek.
Herkimer County
NY 28 is closed in both directions from Middleville to Poland, Middleville/Poland, Herkimer County due to flooding. There is a mud slide in roadway.
NY 171 is closed in both directions from Route 5S to Gulf Rd, Frankfort/Ilion, Herkimer County due to flooding. There is highway section loss adjacent to Moyer Creek.
NY 28 is closed in both directions at Kast bridge-Village of Herkimer to Middleville, Herkimer, Herkimer County due to flooding and culvert washout, debris, and shoulder loss.
