UPDATE-As of Sunday night, the boil water advisory has been lifted for residents in the village of Ilion.

ILION, N.Y. -- Until further notice, Ilion Mayor Brian Lamica says there is now a boil water order in place, after a water main break on West State Street in the Village of Ilion.

Some residents in the village are experiencing very little, to no water and/or water pressure this morning.

Crews are now on-scene trying to repair it. Repairs should be made by this afternoon. The water main break impacted water pressure to some West and Northwest homes in the village.

After the boil water order is lifted, Mayor Lamica says you should run your cold water for a short while, then run your hot water until it's no longer discolored.

There is also an order in place for residents, to prevent any unnecessary water usage. (filling pools, etc.)
