WASHINGTON MILLS, N.Y. -- People who have back pain, or are in any type of pain and are looking for a place to relax, have a new place to go in the area.
Universal Wellness opened Thursday night on Oneida Street in Washington Mills.
The Center will be a place people with pain to come in and get a massage, or those who enjoy yoga to come in and take a class to improve their body, mind, and spirit.
It took about four months for the center to be built.
The co-wwner of Universal Wellness, Audrey Ventura, says she is looking forward to the new location, as it is a place she can provide all-in-one services.
"We had small massage rooms previously and separate yoga studio so now to have it all inclusive to have all of the massage rooms and a yoga studio all in one, it makes it so much more convenient for us as therapists and yoga teachers but also for the students and the clients that come here," Ventura said.
There were cupcakes and other goodies available to those who attended the grand opening.
Ventura says that people can purchase a combined yoga and message package, when they come to the center. Her goal is to see people get well and stay well.
