UTICA, N.Y - The Utica College Regional Science fair was held today at the campus's library.
Students from grades 7 to 12 set up shop in the library concourse. They were judged in a variety of categories such as physical science, natural science, as well as math and engineering.
The issues that were presented in this year's projects focused on issues in communities throughout the world.
"What I've seen today is students trying to solve real-world problems. They are using critical thinking to develop solutions to these real world problems. So, I think this program helps our students and youth be interested in science and learn how to solve problems that our society has," said Jessica Thomas.
