Utica, N.Y. - The tragic death of five-time NBA Champion and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant as been felt all over the globe, both within and outside of the sports community.
His impact reached far beyond the court, and far beyond the city limits of Los Angeles, with many in the basketball community locally mourning his loss.
NEWSChannel 2 spoke with the Utica College Pioneers men's basketball team to get their thoughts on the man known as "Black Mamba."
Pioneers junior guard, Kobe Lufkin, was named after Bryant.
