UTICA - Thanksgiving is coming up in less than two weeks, and the Utica Food Pantry is in need of some turkeys.
On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving the pantry gives families in need the ingredients for a full meal to cook in their own home.
This year’s food distribution will take place at the Utica Fire Department headquarters at 552 Bleecker Street on Tuesday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m.
If you'd like to help local families in need you can donate a frozen turkey by bringing it to the Utica Food Pantry at 729 Broadway in Utica during regular business hours. You can also bring your donations to the Utica Fire Dept. on Bleecker Street anytime during the day.
The pantry says it will also accept monetary donations to purchase turkeys and other items to help those in need.
