UTICA – The Utica Police Department took some time on Thursday to honor its officers for their outstanding efforts to protect and serve the local community.
UPD held its 90th annual award ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Nearly 50 officers were recognized in several different categories, including honorable service and exceptional duty.
Utica Police Chief Mark Williams says the annual ceremony is a way to support and thank their officers.
