UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica Police are investigating an early morning shooting that occured at 14 Watson Place.
Utica Police confirm that around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, a man was hit by a single gunshot that injured both of his legs.
According to Utica Police, they responded to a third-floor apartment space where they found the victim. They say a male suspect went into the apartment, started arguing with one of the residents and fired his handgun.
The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
