UTICA, NY – Police are investigating a shooting in Utica early Tuesday afternoon.
The Oneida County 911 Center says around 12:45 p.m. officers were called to 1511 Brinckerhoff Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Utica Police say they found a man who had been shot in the arm and leg. Police say the man was outside a home when a vehicle drove by, and someone inside the vehicle shot him multiple times.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken by the Utica Fire Department to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for treatment. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
