UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica Police are asking for your help in a shooting investigation.
At approximately 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Utica Police units were dispatched to St. Elizabeth's Hospital regarding a male walk-in gunshot victim.
Hospital staff advised the officers that the male was shot once in the shoulder area and the injuries did not appear life threatening.
The man was not cooperative with the investigation, refusing to provide even basic details about the incident. He also told the officers that he was dropped off at the hospital, when in fact it was learned via hospital camera footage that he drove himself there.
No calls of shots were fired were received during this time frame, so the location of the shooting remains unknown.
