Utica Zoo looks for new concessions tenant

The Utica Zoo is looking for a new tenant for its on-site eatery. The Zoo said its current tenant is closing after seven years.

UTICA, N.Y. - The Utica Zoo is looking for a new tenant for its on-site eatery.  The Zoo said its current tenant is closing after seven years.

According the zoo's social media page Voss' at the Zoo closed for good this past weekend. It had provided on-site concessions for the past seven years.

The zoo said Voss's original location in Yorkville is not closing, as well as its Ilion Marina site.

With Voss’ at the Zoo closing, the zoo is looking for a new partnership with a local business. They are asking that local, interested restaurants or small eateries contact the zoo with a proposal. The zoo provided the following email address: finance@uticazoo.org.

Zoo officials also said they would be releasing a formal Request for Proposal in November.
