A Utica man and a New York Mills man are among five people facing drug charges in Madison County, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

A Utica man and a New York Mills man are among five people facing drug charges in Madison County, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.


On October 26, the Chittenango Police Department received a complaint of narcotics activity and sales at 343 S. Webber Dr. in Chittenango. Chittenango police executed a search warrant at the home and arrested four people, three of whom lived at that location:

Zachary Dryer, 23, of Chittenango:
Fourth-degree conspiracy (Felony)
Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (Misdemeanor)
Unlawful possession of marijuana (Violation)
Arraigned in Chittenango court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond

Jill Tuten, 44, of Chittenango:
Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (Misdemeanor)
Arraigned in Chittenango court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $1,500 bond

Michelle Cockrum, 36, of Chittenango:
Fourth-degree conspiracy (Felony)
First-degree criminal nuisance (Felony)
Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (Misdemeanor)
Arraigned in Chittenango court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond

Jordan Pallotta, 28, of New York Mills:
Tampering with physical evidence (Felony)
Fourth-degree conspiracy (Felony)
Petit larceny (Misdemeanor(
Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (Misdemeanor)
Unlawful possession of marijuana (Violation)
Arraigned in Chittenango court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond

On Oct. 26, the same day that police received the tip about the narcotics activity, members of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Ronnie Lewis of Utica. Deputies say he was found to be in possession of five grams of crack cocaine.

Lewis was arrested and charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Lewis was arraigned in Chittenango court and sent to the Madison County Jail without bail.

Mugshots were not provided for Dryer, Tuten, Cockrum and Pallotta.
