A Utica man is facing multiple felony charges following a child porn investigation, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office’s Chief Deputy Joseph Lisi, director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
Brian Kowalski, 34, is charged with felony possessing a sexual performance by a child and felony promoting a sexual performance by a child.
Kowalski was arrested following a search warrant execution at 1215 Stark Street in Utica on Tuesday. Lisi says that during the search, several computer electronic devices were seized for further forensic examinations.
Kowalski was arraigned in Utica City Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.
The New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit and the Utica Police Department Crime Scene Unit also assisted the Child Advocacy Center with the investigation.
