ILION, N.Y. – A Utica man was arrested after running from police during a traffic stop in Ilion Tuesday.
New York State Police say 26-year-old Hexadore Randall was driving on West Main Street in the village of Ilion, when he was pulled over for speeding.
After speaking with Randall, troopers discovered he was driving with a suspended license.
Randall then fled the scene on foot, leading to a short chase before he was taken into custody.
Randall is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Police are still investigating.
