Utica man charged in late night shooting on Bleecker Street

Police say they found several spent shell casings in the area, just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica police say they arrested a man in a shots fired investigation.

The arrest comes after surveillance video showed the man standing on Bleecker Street repeatedly firing a gun.

WKTV is working to get that footage from UPD.

Marquis Williams, 39, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.

Police say they found several spent shell casings in the area, just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.
