A Utica man is facing felony charges for allegedly possessing child pornography and uploading it online, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office’s Chief Deputy Joseph Lisi, director of the county Child Advocacy Center.

Jeffrey Clem, 48, is charged with multiple counts of felony possessing a sexual performance of a child and felony promoting a sexual performance by a child.

The arrest follows an investigation and search warrant that was conducted at Clem’s residence today, according to Lisi. He says that several electronic devices were seized from Clem’s home for further forensic examination.

Clem was processed at the Utica Police Department and held pending his arraignment. Lisi says the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.

The New York State Police Computer Crimes Utica and the Utica Police Department Crime Scene Unit assisted the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center in this case.
