UTICA, N.Y. – The suspect accused of fatally shooting another man at a Utica barbershop has been indicted by a grand jury for second-degree murder.
Jaleak Scarborough was arrested on Thursday, June 10, after a month-long police investigation. He was charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
Scarborough is accused of killing 26-year-old Lemeke Pittman on the 1600 block of Seymour Avenue on May 7.
Utica police say more arrests are expected in this case.
