Utica police make fourth arrest in shots fire incident on Brinckerhoff Avenue

A fourth arrest has been made in relation to a shots fired incident that happened on Brinckerhoff Avenue in Utica on Feb. 5.

UTICA, N.Y. – A fourth arrest has been made in relation to a shots fired incident that happened on Brinckerhoff Avenue in Utica on Feb. 5.

Yvontae Wheeler, 27, is facing multiple charges, including, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal using drug paraphernalia.

Police believe they have arrested and charged all suspects involved in the incident.

The three others suspects arrested include, 39-year-old Kimberly Felton, 35-year-old Clifton Mercer and 31-year-old Jazzian Jenkins.

The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Brinckerhoff Avenue.

No injuries were reported.
