UTICA – Polls are now open for a vote on the Utica City School District’s proposed capital project to improve the school district’s athletic facilities.

The Athletic Improvements Referendum includes three different propositions, which Utica residents will vote on separately:
Question 1:
Proctor High School - $5,925,000
- Field house – Team building/storage
- Lower concession stand and public toilets
- Artificial turf replacement
- Track resurfacing/replacement
- New scoreboard
- Tennis court reconstruction
- Minor building renovations
Question 2:
$4,725,000
John F. Kennedy Middle School
- Track and in-field reconstruction
- Portable bleachers
- Support building improvements
- Minor building renovations
James Donovan Middle School
- Track and in-field reconstruction
- Portable bleachers
- Support building
- Minor building renovations
Question 3:
$4,325,000
Proctor High School
- Upper concession stand
- Stadium lighting replacement
- Practice field reconstruction
- Practice field storage/support building
John F. Kennedy Middle School
