The Oneida County STOP DWI unit stopped 34-year-old Taicoya S. Wynder around 1 a.m., after observing several vehicle and traffic violations.
The deputy who stopped Wynder said he noticed signs of impairment, and put her through standard field sobriety tests, which indicated she was intoxicated.
According to the sheriff's office, there were two children in the back of the vehicle, ages 5 and 9 years old.
Wynder was taken into custody and charged with the following:
- Driving while intoxicated
- DWI .08% BAC or greater
- Aggravated DWI
- Felony DWI under Leandra’s Law
- Two counts of endangering the welfare of a child
