UTICA, N.Y. – Roughly 35 vendors from across the country come to the area for the annual Mohawk Valley Antique Fest, and many of them started setting up booths at the Stanley Theatre on Friday.
The promotor of the event, Jerry DiSchavio, was at the theater to help the vendors prepare.
“It’s a whole day process…the whole day, some of the dealers take three or four hours to set up their booths. A lot of work is involved,” said DiSchavio.
The event, which has taken place for the past two decades, is open to the public and will be held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7, and are good for both days.
