A Verona Beach man is facing felony charges after he allegedly raped a child, according to New York State Police.
Joseph Walker, 37, is charged with felony second-degree rape and felony second-degree criminal sex act.
Police say Walker allegedly had sexual contact with a female child under the age of 15. The alleged incidents occurred in Oneida County from 2014-2015.
Walker was being held at the Oneida County Jail while he awaited arraignment.
The victim has been offered services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
