VERONA, NY - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has charged a Verona man following an alleged physical dispute involving a shotgun.
On Monday, shortly before 11 p.m., Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home on Hill Road in Verona, where they arrested 67-year-old Steven Reed.
Deputies say Reed had an argument with the victim, punched that person in the face and threatened the victim with a shotgun.
Reed is charged with menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. He is currently being held in the Oneida County Correctional Facility pending an arraignment.
Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies say they secured a number of long guns from the residence. New York State Police assisted in Reed's arrest.
