Sunday evening, we have partly sunny skies over most of the region. There are a couple
brief light rain showers in the Northern counties but they won't last long. Tonight, the
leftover rain ends and we we will have mostly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 50s.
High pressure moves over New York State on Monday, which means nicer weather! Partly
cloudy skies in the morning will give way to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. It will
also be much warmer with highs in the upper 70s.
Overnight into Tuesday morning, the next weather system approaches our area bringing
scattered storms and showers. These look to extend into the afternoon becoming lighter
and more concentrated in the Southern valleys. The good news is that our temperatures will
continue on the upward trend with highs in the low 80s.
Wednesday, high pressure dominates our weather bringing partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 80s.
It gets even warmer on Thursday and Friday with highs in the mid to upper 80s and a few thunderstorms. Remember to stay hydrated and put on some sunscreen!
Next weekend is looking to be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies and temperatures returning into the low 80s.
