After two cool days, the weather looks to turn much warmer as we head into Friday and Saturday. A slow moving warm front is moving through the region on Thursday, bringing a round of clouds and a few sprinkles/ice pellets/flurries to the region. This isn't expected to last long, but it is expected to change our weather.
A much larger, powerful storm well to our west will influence our weather heading into the weekend. The storm is expected to bring heavy snow and blizzard conditions to the upper Midwest. We are not expecting anything like this locally, in fact the weather should turn warmer for our area! With the storm tracking west, the wind pattern in our area is from the southwest, bringing in much milder conditions.
Saturday looks to be one of the warmest days so far this spring, with highs near 70! The next round of rain looks to arrive on Sunday, bringing cooler temperatures to the region heading into early next week.
