For this evening, nice weather continues with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 70s. Overnight, we will still be dry with increasing cloud cover and lows in the low 60s.
We will start off Wednesday with pleasant conditions; partly cloudy skies and highs reaching the mid-80s. However, a weak cold front will bring us the chance for scattered thunderstorms popping up across the region Wednesday evening. These storms will be small and brief, but don’t underestimate their intensity. Some storms will be strong enough to produce heavy downpours, pooling on some roadways, lightning, and gusty winds. The chance for severe weather is low but still possible. Also, be careful driving in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday. Expect low visibility when driving through these storms and slick roads.
This cold front will move out of the region overnight into Thursday, but our temperatures won’t drop by much. Our high temperatures will still reach the low 80s Thursday afternoon. It looks like a great day to be outside with mostly sunny skies and dry weather throughout the day. Overnight, lows will be in the low 60s.
Our dew point will start to creep back up on Friday with muggy conditions. This is because our next weather maker will be approaching late Friday evening, giving us rain showers and the chance for some storms. It will also be another hot day with highs in the mid-80s.
This weekend is looking like it will be a wet one. Saturday won’t be too bad with partly cloudy skies and the chance for a few light rain showers, but Sunday the rain becomes heavier and more widespread. It will also cool down quite a bit from the upper 70s on Saturday down to low 70s on Sunday.
