Westmoreland, N.Y. - A water main break in Westmoreland is causing some residents in Westmoreland to have their water service shut off so the repair can be made.
Westmoreland Town Clerk Jody Burdick tells News Channel 2, a water main break occurred on French Rd. in Westmoreland and has caused the need for water to be shut off to residents in the Tindell Water District within the town.
The water was to be shut off between 10:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. Saturday morning.
Burdick did not know how long the water service would have to remain off, as she doesn't know how long the repair to the water main will take.
