Westmoreland man accused of sexually abusing child

A Westmoreland man is facing a felony charge for allegedly sexually abusing a child, according to New York State Police.

A Westmoreland man is facing a felony charge for allegedly sexually abusing a child, according to New York State Police.

David Seelman, 33, is charged with felony first-degree sexual abuse and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Seelman is accused of having sexual contact with a female child under the age of 11.

Seelman was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $20,000 cash bail or bond.

The victim has been offered services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
