UTICA, N.Y. – The holiday season is around the corner, and the wheels are already in motion planning the annual Stuff the Bus toy drive.
Through Oct. 30, charity’s and groups can fill out an application to receive toys from the drive to benefit kids in need across the region.
NEWSChannel 2 works with Roser Communications each year to collect toys by parking the bus at various locations, and accepting donations.
"You can just come in and drop off a toy. Actually, our Stuff the Bus events have always been kind of COVID-free, you can stop in and drop off with contact necessary so you will still be able to give this holiday season with Stuff the Bus, and that will be rolling out like mid-November, we are going to be kicking off,” said Liz DeSanctis of Kiss-FM.
Toys collected in the drive are distributed to organizations in Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Otsego, Fulton and Montgomery counties.
