Utah - For the second consecutive year, the Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club has won the Premier Lacrosse League championship.
In a stellar comeback, the Whipsnakes would score 10 unanswered goals in the second half including 9 in the fourth quarter to win over the Chaos, 12-6.
Irving, NY native, Zed Williams, was named championship MVP after tallying 6 goals in today’s match.
The Whipsnakes earn back-to-back titles and are the only champions in league history, which was founded in 2019.
League co-founder Paul Rabil said that there were zero positive coronavirus tests and no virus threats during the tournament in the bubble in Utah.
