Utica, N.Y. - Avery Cook struck out ten batters over seven innings, holding Proctor to just four hits with no earned runs as Whitesboro defeated their TVL Colonial foe 3-1 at Murnane Field, Tuesday.
The first place Warriors got RBI's from a Joe Ruggiero (1-for-4) single in the third and Ryan Cardone (0-for-2) sacrifice fly in the fourth. Noah Scranton reached base on a fielding error in the fifth that allowed another run to score.
