Whitesboro's Cook shuts down Proctor to help Warriors defeat Raiders

Utica, N.Y. - Avery Cook struck out ten batters over seven innings, holding Proctor to just four hits with no earned runs as Whitesboro defeated their TVL Colonial foe 3-1 at Murnane Field, Tuesday.

The first place Warriors got RBI's from a Joe Ruggiero (1-for-4) single in the third and Ryan Cardone (0-for-2) sacrifice fly in the fourth. Noah Scranton reached base on a fielding error in the fifth that allowed another run to score.

Proctor's lone RBI came from Rob Conley (2-for-3) in the sixth.

Jason DeJesus went 5 1/3 innings giving up four hits, two earned runs, walked two and struck out two.
