WHITESTOWN, N.Y. – The town of Whitestown will be holding a drive-thru mask distribution on Thursday, to hand out masks provided by Oneida County.
Masks can be picked up from 3 – 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Whitestown Community Center located at 1 Championship Dr.
“In order to return to normalcy as soon as possible and for the gradual reopening of our economy to be successful, it’s important that we continue to wear masks and social distance,” said Whitestown Supervisor Shaun J. Kaleta. “I would like to thank Oneida County for purchasing tens of thousands of cloth masks and giving them to municipalities across the county to distribute to residents. It’s a cost that would have been difficult to absorb on our own.”
There is a limit of two masks per person, and proof of Whitestown residence is required.
Seniors who are unable to attend the drive-thru event can make other arrangements to receive a mask by calling 315-768-6047.
