Our next winter weather event is expected to impact parts of our area late tonight into early tomorrow morning. Here are the details.

  • Timing - rain develops this evening, mixing with sleet, freezing rain, and snow after midnight. Precipitaiton changes to all snow by Tuesday moring, coming to an end by late morning.
  • Impact - a few slippery spots are expected late tonight into early tomorrow, especially east of Utica.
  • Accumulation - not much for most of the area. Areas east of Utica but outside the Mohawk Valley could see up to 2" of snow

Road conditions are expected to greatly improve tomorrow late morning and early afternoon, as temperatures are expected to climb above freezing.  The weather looks quiet for the majority of the week, with the next weather system expected to bring rain on Friday.
