WORCESTER, N.Y. -- It appears that the tuition sharing of students between Worcester Central School and Schenevus Central School will not happen in the 2020-2021 school year.
In a letter to the community, the Worcester Central Superintendent Tim Gonzalez states that after careful investigation, there remains too many unknown variables to be adequately prepared to make this move for the upcoming school year.
He sited staffing as being a major issue. The letter also states that the Worcester Central school board decided that tuitioning creates "too many risks to the staff and they cannot go forward."
