We start towards the beginning of the year in March. It was America's greatest heart run and walk.

Thousands came out to show support for the American Heart Association.

The event raising close to 1 million dollars for heart disease research.

A few days later, it was the Utica St Patrick's day parade.

It was the continuation of a tradition that's been going on for decades.

The temperatures weren't ideal either, but that didn't stop the large crowd that lined Genesee street.

It may not have been open on St. Patrick's day, but the Irish cultural center opened its doors after years of work.

The ceremony was held in the warmer months of July.

In terms of 2020, the Irish Cultural Center will be hosting the Irish fest. It will be the first year that it hasn't been held at the Herkimer county fairgrounds.

It's the biggest race of the year for our area, Boilermaker Sunday did not disappoint, bringing in tens of thousands of participants from across the area and across the world.

For the first time, the wheelchair race was delayed due to very tragic circumstances. But once it began there was excitement from start to finish.

Registration for the 2020 race begins New Year's Day.

It was a great year to be a baseball fan, thousands flocked to Cooperstown for this year's Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

The weekend was packed with activities and plenty of opportunities for fans to get close to some of their favorites superstars.
