UTICA, N.Y. – After losing a loved one in the explosion that devastated Beirut Tuesday, the owners of Zeina’s Café in Utica are raising money for the Lebanese Red Cross.
The restaurant will be donating 50% of its sales from Saturday, Aug. 8, to the Lebanese Red Cross to help victims of the explosion. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Owners Albert and Layla Zeina lost a cousin, George, in the explosion.
More than 150 people died and thousands of others were also injured.
