Jeremy Ryan is the news director for WKTV.

Jeremy grew up in Floyd, New York. He graduated from Holland Patent High School and Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.

This is Jeremy’s second stint with NewsChannel 2. He started his broadcasting career as a newscast director before moving on to work for WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee; News 10 Now (now Spectrum News) in Syracuse; and CNY Central in Syracuse; where he most recently managed the stations’ website and assignment desk. He rejoined WKTV as news director in 2014.

Jeremy is a member of the Radio Television Digital News Association, Syracuse Press Club, U.S. Basketball Writers Association, and Pastime Athletic Club. He lives in Canastota with his family. In his free time Jeremy enjoys playing basketball and following the Syracuse Orange.
