Title: Assignment Manager
cmoore@wktv.com

Chelsey Moore is the Assignment Manager at WKTV NEWSChannel 2, but you may have seen her anchor, and report the news in the past – and although she is taking more of a behind-the-scenes role in the newsroom, she will continue to produce the 6 p.m. show.

She started working for WKTV in January 2018 as an intern, and was officially hired in April 2018 as the morning show producer and reporter.

Chelsey graduated from SUNY Oswego with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and mass communication, and will have her MBA in business administration in May 2019.

She spent her time at SUNY Oswego working for the school’s television station WTOP. While at WTOP, Chelsey worked as a news producer, anchor, and reporter. She also served as the station’s entertainment reporter, and created and hosted her own talk show.

Chelsey has loved all things news and entertainment since she was very little. When she’s not at work, she loves spending her time with family and friends. You can find her Jeeping, kayaking, hiking, cooking, singing, and playing piano, among other things.

She grew up near Constableville, New York, and is excited to be working so close to home. She is hoping to make a significant change in the world through her work.
