COVID-19 testing will be available at SUNY Oneonta starting Jan. 7.

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The COVID-19 testing site at SUNY Oneonta will open Friday, Jan. 7, as part of the state’s effort to increase testing availability.

Testing will happen in the college’s Emergency Services Building training room located at the lower end of campus. The site will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

The free testing is open to anyone experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19.

The site will conduct saliva-based Clarifi testing, which SUNY Oneonta officials say detects all known variants of the virus, including omicron.
