Intersection closed Monday morning to make way for demolition in Utica
UTICA, N.Y. -- The intersection of South Street and Mohawk Street in Utica will be closed Monday morning starting at 7 a.m. to make way for a demolition.Â
The building at 645 South Street caught fire in the early morning hours on New Year's Day. Fire crews battled the blaze overnight on Jan. 1.
The building was boarded up after the fire.Â
Demolition is slated for Monday.Â
