FRANKFORT, NY - There’s a new business opening in Frankfort on Monday, but this weekend they held an open house for some of their 4 legged clients.

The K-9 Collar Club, is a doggie daycare center located on West Main Street in Frankfort.

Dog owners will be able to drop off their fur babies while they're at work for the day, or just a few hours if they’re out running an errand.

There's plenty of space for the dogs to run around, both inside and out.

Owner Marsala Bono says social interaction between dogs is very important.

"When Covid hit we saw a lot of very anxious and un-socialized puppies. As Covid went on we saw this more and more. It definitely takes a toll on their mental state. They have so many obstacles here and so many decisions to make when they're playing with other dogs, you know good or bad. So it's definitely very stimulating for them".

The K-9 Collar Club is open Monday thru Friday from 7 am to 6 p.m.

It's also available to rent out on the weekends if you want to have a puppy party.
