...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Northwest winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Cortland, Onondaga, Madison and Southern Cayuga counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Saturday morning commute.

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches with 3 to 6 inches above 1500ft . Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...In Vermont, Western Windham County. In New York, Eastern Rensselaer, Northern Herkimer and Hamilton Counties. In Massachusetts, Northern Berkshire County.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Snowfall rates may reach half inch to one inch per hour at times this evening, especially above 1500 feet in the Taconics and the southern Greens. Strong winds and moderate to heavy snow will likely reduce of visibilities and result in blowing snow.

* WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
