...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 4 PM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 20 inches expected. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph Sunday afternoon, with areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Bradford county. In New York, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Madison, Southern Oneida, Cortland, Chenango, Otsego, Tioga, Broome and Delaware Counties.

* WHEN...From noon Saturday to 4 PM EST Sunday. The heaviest snow is expected to fall Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are expected during this time.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Also, winds will pick up considerably Sunday afternoon, causing blowing snow and dangerously low wind chills into Sunday night.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 20 inches. Some snow totals across the southern Green Mountains in southern Vermont may approach 2 feet. Winds will gust to 20 to 30 mph Sunday afternoon.

* WHERE...Southern Vermont, western Massachusetts, and the Greater Capital Region, Lake George Saratoga region, southern Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley, Helderbergs, eastern Catskills, and northern and central Taconics in east central New York.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Saturday to 4 PM EST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible across the region Saturday night through Sunday morning with snow or ice covered roadways and very low visibility in heavy snow. Snowfall rates will be 1 to 3 inches an hour at times Saturday night into Sunday morning. The potential for blowing and drifting snow will increase Sunday afternoon into the evening with wind chills falling well below zero.

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Dangerously cold wind chills possible. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 15 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will produce significant blowing and drifting snow. Wind chills as low as 30 to 40 below zero possible.

* WHERE...Oswego and Lewis counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 4 PM Saturday to 6 PM EST Sunday. For the Wind Chill Watch, from Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. The heaviest snow will fall from late Saturday evening through midday Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. If you must travel, be prepared for severe winter driving conditions with deep snow cover and very low visibility from heavy snow and blowing snow. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
